Have you ever gotten down out of your tree stand...after dark...by yourself...to look for a BIG bear that you just stuck in the shoulder?I have...it was not something that I ever what to do or will ever do again. Luckily (?) the arrow pulled out as soon as he turned and darted off. There was no blood on it so I knew I hit the shoulder and nothing else. I tracked him for a few yards...no blood...I got out of there fast. I was upset with myself for missing the 10 yard shot but it was getting dark in my hole in the woods (still shooting hours outside of it) and I couldn't get a good lock-on through my peep. I looked around it, moved it back passed the shoulder (I thought) and released. I know, I know, you don't have to preach to me...I've said it all to myself already.
