With 60 ac of land and a 5 bedroom + house we do pay taxes,we pay the school tax ( even though no one goes) and we pay insurance. We are there every weekend during the entire hunting season, bow, muzzleloader, rifle, plus we are there at least 2 weekends a month for the entire year. But as I said residents should get priority for the 1st rd only.

As far as CT goes, the deer are bigger both in size and racks and if Iwere too get all the tags I could shoot 9 deer legally ( 4 must be does) for a heck of a lot cheaper than PA, in fact so would you if you came to CT..I hunt bow in CT becuz our season starts Sept 15 which gives me time to take some deer before PA.

But there is nothing like a road trip & deer camp!
