RE: Fall hunt questions!
CM,man I wished I lived closer to ya!!Turkeys are very patternable and I truly beleive this is the best way to harvesting a fall longbeard.A turkeys territory this time of year really is dictated by the available food and water sources in your general area. They got to have it everyday and thus can easily be patterned.Turkeys will feed in a favorite area usually until its gone, then they move to greener pastures if you know what I mean.Locating a roostsite can be tough this time of year but not impossible.Reading sign such as(tracks, feathers, scratching, and droppings, can clue you in on a active roosting site.I would go back to the same area you saw them and do a little scouting.Roads, trails, and creek bottoms give you opportunity to look for tracks, and clue you in on regular travel routes.Locate the food source and you'll findem!good luck BOB
