I think that I am actually a better hunter then my mentor, altho I would never say that to him. I have always advocated shooting does, no matter what time of the season (unless mr big is in tow). he says every year he is going to shoot one, and yet I have ever only heard of him shooting at one in 14 yrs. I've shot that many doe in the past year. he is an excellent hunter though and I am forever grateful for him for all his advice and wisdom.
