But since you did, maybe you should go back and do some more research before you put your foot in your mouth again. From a rifle the 44 Mag has 1650 ft-lbs at the muzzle and the 30-30 has a mere 850 at 200 yards. The 44 Mag is a 100 yard gun and the 30-30 is and will always be a 150 yarder.
