Default RE: Im going to start using wraps. Need advice

Kevin, A dozen arrows wil last me for at least a year. I don't shoot at the same spots while practicing, I rarely miss the target, very few arrows get broken and I hardly ever loose one. So yes my arrows are available to refletch and I will refletch a two to three times a year. If I went through a couple dozen arrows every year I wouldn't bother to do either one. What would be the point of spending the extra time and money only to loose them?

What in the world are you doing to loose 24 arrows every year?

Yes a heat lamp shortens curing time but we don't all have heat lamps laying around the house. Paint and crestings add about the same amount of weight to your arrow. A vinyl cresting only adds a few grains to the end of the shaft. Same with paint.

How "custom" do you expect to get with spray paint. A white base coat with a fade or two? Or a white base coat with another color sprayed over it. No offence but that's not exactly custom. It's still spray paint

You can get custom wraps made up. I am pretty sure that Bowmanhunter will do them and I know that arrow wraps unlimited will do them. send them your design or describe it as best you can and you can get them put on a wrap.

If you really want custom crestings with paint then you need to invest in a cresting kit. Bohning makes a good one.
