My Dad got me into the hunting thing.. I was the only girl in the neighborhood that would hunt and fish.. I was into the tracking of deer as long as I can remeber. In 94' When my dad shot his 16 pointer with the bow I knew I had to beat him... and when I turned 12 I toook my hunters saftey.. the only girl in the class and passed it with flying colors.. heck it was easy

I haven't shot a bigger buck then my day butI did get 3 deer last fall during the Gun Deer Season.. Last fall was my 2nd year hunting.. I went through hunters saftey 9 years ago and hunted my first year but didn't think I could shoot a deer.. Last fall I thought I would give it a shot again anddid it.. Shot a little nubbie on opening day and was all ready to go the next day... Well in the PM that isI'm not an AM person I got two Doe the 2nd day.. Didn't have to go out another day during the season

I plan on shooting a buck with a bow this year I will never be better then my dad but I can be as good as my dad... He taught me well and I intened to remeber everything he taught me and pass if onto my kids weather they be girls or boys
