Default RE: Luckiest shot?

Up in my stand I spot a doe meandering, coming from behind on my right. No shot available as it passes on my right within 20 yds. Finally it's in front and a perfect broadside shot. I let fly only to see my fletchings make a sharp left hand turn right where she's standing. The deer takes of running away and to the right. I check with the bino's for the tree it deflected off. Nothing, a clear path, I look again for the arrow nothing, Finally I get down and look, still can't find my arrow. Ans still can't believe I missed, but I saw the fletchings clearly head to the left. I followed the deer hoove prints as it tore up the leaves as it ran. Low and behold 60 yds later a drop of blood, 5' later the doe.The deer jumped the string, spun around and I arrowed it right in it's butt hole. It was still turning to run and thats why the fletchings veered to the left so quickly. The shaft was burried up to the fletchings and of course no blood. Also the 60 yds. it ran was directly towards my van.
