If they are the original Tekan heads they did have a problem. There was a problem with the expanding blades coming right out of the head

I dont know how they could have missed this in testing their heads before releasing them. I have talked to 3 guys who personally had this happen. None of them lost their deer, actually all 3 said the deer went less than 50yds. They were all stunned on seeing the blades missing upon retrieving their arrows. 2 had complete pass thrus and both blades were gone when they found their arrows. They never found the blades while gutting but they said they didnt look too hard. The third guy said the arrow did not come out the other side, when pulling out the arrow only one blade was still in the ferrule. I guess the blades may have come out after passing thru and fell out upon impacting the ground?I have talked to several other guys who have had no problems at all, and really lovedthem. The problems are fixed on the new Tekan 2 heads. I dont think this was a wide spread really common thing but it seems itcould happen. I have definately heard alot more good than bad about them. All three guys now shoot the Tekan 2 and keep the Tekan1's as "back up" heads. They say they fly too good to ge rid of.
