Default RE: New Bow

You want to choose a bow that you are not only comfortable with but also fits you physically, it's kinda like your spouse.LOL. Well that was a bad joke, but anyway, I prefer a smaller lightweight bow such as the PSE Nova Team Fitzgerald bow, with the correct equipment this bow is extremely deadly, I am shooting 69lb draw wieght at 28 inch draw length with game traker carbon arrows with a 100 grain 4 blade braod head, shooting speeds up to 221fps, not only is this combow fast, but is extremly accurate and deadly. The one thing I particularly liek about this bow is that it has 70% let off, so as soon as I see a deer that is closing in on my stand I can draw back to the breaking point and hold it till I have a clear shot, I am able to hold this bow back on full draw for several minutes with out straining my arms, back, and shoulders. This is a bow I have recomended to several new bow hunters and they have all tried one and purchased one. Go to your local Pro shop let them know what you are looking for and they will find your draw length and a comfortable weight fro you to draw at, make sure that the rate at wich you draw exceeds your states minimum draw weight. Your local pro shop and dealer will be able to get you going from there. Good luck and happy hunting.
