I havefour Timney triggers on Mausers & P14 enfields and really like them for the money. Factory Rem 700 trigger can be adjusted down to 2 1/2 pounds and still be safe. Most Factory 700 triggers can be adjusted to break, with little to no creep and over travel.So unless your going below that 2 1/2 pound mark, I don't see a plus going to a Timney trigger on Rem 700. My 700 have tweaked factory triggers.
