i have a 50cal tc hawken and already bent and broke 2 ramrods...one brass and one hollow alumanum....so im going to make my own fiberglass ones...seems all my stuff is 10-32 threads...and the brass one had a 10-32 end and a 8-32 end...and i bent that one to heck and back...the alumanum one was junk and i ripped the ends out both ends and expoxied them in many times and finally cracked and bent it...so im going to make 2 fiberglass ones...one for the gun...and a spare/cleaning rod for when im home so i dont have to change from brush to cleaning jag ect ect...and put a good T handle on the one i leave here to clean with..and i have a spare if id break the one for my gun...but i need to figure out what size to order...im coming up with 3/8ths...but it may be 5/16ths...im measuring my old ones but i just cant tell...anyone know what size it would be??? if you were making a ramrod what kind of ends would you go with??? thanx alot..i got a site on how to do this all...just havent read it yet...and started shopping already....alot cheaper then buying one...and i can customize the ends....what threads should i go with? 10-32 for both was what i was thinking...i think everything i have fits 10-32....and cupped both ends so when im reloading in a hurry it doesnt matter what end i have...i hated the one flat end..one cupped end!! thanx...
