"For miles around" sounds like a sales pitch. Clover blends will definetly draw some deer, but maybe not as well as a well planted rye, oats, or wheat crop - which is easier, and cheaper to propogate. Clovers shine, when you want to provide year round nutrition for the deer on your hunting property. Sure - you can hunt over them too, many of us do - but consider planting clover or alfalfa to feed the deer, and an attractant crop to hunt over. As with any food plot, especially ones smaller than 1 acre - deer will figure out that they are being hunted there - and will use it nocturnally. Plant it - but hunt over it sparingly. Hunt the trails, and funnels leading to it, and you will enjoy better results, over a much longer period.
