Cardeer, thanks for the answers. and for yours, I agree, I have never seen a starving deer in Pa, I've never hunted out of state so I can't answer the first, and for the last, i do feed the deer in my back yard just to keep them around and take some pictures, not because they need it.
I think the biggest problem with this whole plan is how they have sold it. They have tried all kinds of excuses, the starving deer, the bigger bucks when in reality it is just as BM said, reduce the population because there is not enough land to hold all the animals. However, again it was another poor job in executing this plan. This state is too big to manage all the same way. I think this is just a start and will eventually be broken into smaller units.
I don't ever think they will have issues here of this becoming a lease only state as the hunters here will never put up with it.
