Who still shoots feathers?
Am I the only guy left that won't shoot plastic vanes? The guys at the proshop act like I'm speaking Korean when I ask for feathers.
Maybe I'm just oldskool, or maybe I'm missing the boat here.
They ask me why I like 'em, and I really can't answer it. Some claim that feathers are too loud, but I've never had a buck dodge my arrow. I also like the fact that they flatten out for the first part of the flight, helping your arrow avoid deflection on small twigs/vines. I just think they look cool, and have a "traditional" feel.
