In truth there really hasn't been much of a change in average speed ratings for the last five years or so...with the exception of one or two bows pushing the 340-350 fps mark.

My current shooter, a Bowtech Old Glory, puts out 286 fps with a 60 pound draw weight and a 380 grain carbon arrow. My second bow, a Diamond Triumph puts out about 268 fps at a 65 pound draw weight with a 440 grain arrow.
