You read all the ads for the new bows in the magazines and they advertise speeds in the 300-310 fps range. I just got my old bow tuned up and had it chronied at the pro shop. How's 262 fps for an older Mathews bow? I just had a Whisker Biscuit put on so I lost a little bit of overdraw length but I was pretty impressed by what the old bow would shoot. I was thinking about getting a new bow one of these days but now I'm thinking about sticking with what I got. I just put on a new site as well. What kind of speed are you guys getting out of your bows? Mine is at 70lbs (72 last time I pulled it against a scale) and I'm shooting carbon arrows with 100 grain heads.
