no these questions arent stupid... they come back together cause they like being in the flock and most of the time there are a lot of young birds that really havent been apart from mom, and brothers and sisters so once they get split up from them and here some of your calls they come running in looking for you...
if you can just shoot them in the field then do it.. i think it would be a little hard to walk up on a flock of turkey in a field and shoot one, but im sure its been done.. does this help at all???
