Default RE: Pope & Young Question

with regard to pronghorn and pope and young, MOST 12.5 inch goats (really spindly ones wont) will make book. if not, it will be close, and is at least a mature goat. that being said, i personally think antelope look good at 13 inches and up. a couple some buddies have taken at 12.5-12 3/4 have been pretty too. there are 13 inch goats in boone and crockett! for that to happen they have to have SUBSTANTIAL mass and prong length. the advice already given on here is pretty good, if they are that good shoot.

good luck on your hunt, and take care of the meat, antelope is the best.
