RE: Slick Trick mania
Hi, Just had time to read the first post and the last. As to size, I addressed that in the other thread, and advertise 10 gauge holes because that is the most common remark I hear about them. As to limited advertising and production, that is simply a product of lack of money. I first introduced Tricks as the 2000 bow show and began selling in 2001, and since then the other manufacturers have seen how they outperform, and have tried to compete with their own, as the magazines now call them, "super short heads". But the Alcatraz Bladelock gives Tricks the advantage with all steel 4 blade heads and geometry. As to why bigger companies have not bought me out, it hasn't been from lack of trying. I could post a whos who here, but I won't, wouldn't be ethical and I keep stuff in confidence. It has been hard, I admit, without a huge budget, and I got pneumonia last fall and was so sick Idecided to take an offer, but was so sick I procrastinated, finally got well and am still plugging along, and again have no plans to sell. As to magazines, they are a business, and they don't write about a product much that isn't advertising, but I finally have some ads coming out, and I expect by next yearall the dealerswill stock Tricks. Dealers love them once they find out about them. Anyway, gotta go, THANKS GARY
