A friend and I went out and did some spotlighting for deer tonight...........and we saw what we were looking for!
A 140class P&Y whitetail is sure a pretty sight feeding in a beanfield in Nebraska(or anywhere else). I have a stand hanging ina "funnel" about 100 yards from where we "shined" him!lol
He was with a small buck and 4 does.........he didnt hang around to long after we pointed the light at him..........go figure!
If youv got a soybean field close to your huntin ground,"shining" the beans after dark is a great way to see exactly what kind of deer you have runnin your woods!
This tactic works greatwhen thebeans are still green ,after they start turning brown they dont hit them as hard.
