sniper151 makes a very good point in that it not a great brush bullet.
I had a great buck several years ago about 50 yards , he kind of caught me off guard and i made a shot that i thought was true. well he left me a blood trail about 50 yards and it stopped. i found the copper jacket in a pool of blood and it was sheared all to one side. i then found a sapling that had no leaves that it had hit.
Another hunter got that buck a few days later and he had some good bloody bruising on his rib cage. he was a 9 pt with a 18" spread and great tine length . needless to say he hangs in his living room![:@]
That is one reason i went to 100 grain round nose in my 6mm rem and 243 win they flat work! i havent shot many soft pointed spitzers in mine since then. and i still get good accuracy my son killed a doe at about 175 yards with those round nose bullets .
Just thought i would share that!
