I like the Burris Fullfield II Ballistic Plex a lot. In my opinion, you get a whole lot of scope for the dollars spent. It's bright, clear and I really like the B-Plex reticle. I'm usually hunting in the woods so I generally keep the scope set on 3 or 4 power. I really like having the scope sighted in "dead-on" at 100 Yds instead of the normal 2 or 3 inches. Sighted in "dead-on" at 100, I'm within 1/2" of line of sight from 35Yds all the way out to 130Yds. When hunting the woods, this allows me to really "thread the needle" through the brush if I need to.
However, whenever I'm sitting a power line, clear-cut, food plot, etc. where long shots are a possibility, I've got the B-Plex reticle which allows me to take 200 or 300 Yd shots with confidence. The B-Plex has aim points for 200, 300, 400 and 500 Yards, but I doubt I'd ever take a shot over 300. Basically I've got a short range and long range scope all rolled into one.
Here is a link to the Burris Tech Notes that explain how the Ballistic Plex works.
