Awesome story and great testimonial to safety harnesses Arrow-Slinger. I just invested in a nice climbing stand and will always use a harness. I do have a little paranoia in the way of traveling to and from my stand, but mostly due to other hunters that might not think of shooting way before light.I used to get a little freaked out hearing stories of encounters with big cats in the area I hunt. It didnt help that I saw a mountain lion just outside of town in December of last year. I was visiting my hometown in Missouri and saw the juvenile cat cross the road in the headlights. I dont guess there would be anything more hair-raising than knowing a large predator is watching you while you wander around its habitat.
