I've looked in wind solar power and I think I'll be installing a wind turbine when I move up north. In our area, even though it's in the bush, the building regulations are overwhelming. Minimum 1200 ft2, minimum 2x6 studs, minimum insulation and snow load capacity, etc, etc, etc. We Canadians know how to over-regulate.
