Its simply amazing what a little resourcefulness can do for a budget. You have a right to be proud, my cabin cost substantially more even with alot of my own sweat equity. You will like the dish unit as there are alot of hunting shows on satelite.

Hey DougMd, I noticed your question on the generator. That is how I power my cabin. I presently have a 3500 watt Honda generator, which does what Ineed including a 220V well pump. If I had done it over I would have gone with at least 5000 watt unit. I think it would have been easier on the generator if it were larger.
