I looked at one myself and liked it.Then I was thinking for the little bit difference in the weight,would I be willing to give up the strenght of the steel receiver?I decided to stick with the steel receiver.The Aluminum will fatigue in time.My opinion the steel will hold up allot better under the constant recoil.I finally ended up buying a BAR Safari in 300 Win Mag and one in 270 Win.w/boss.Both are solid as a rock......The steel receivers have been proven for many years.
