I've got plenty of "traditional" rabbit hunting rifles/shotguns that are not nearly so overkill for jack rabbit hunting;
however, that is not the purpose of the exercise....
Fast action, close in, with accuracy being at a premium while using Big Bore riflesis the mission at hand.
