Dad and Iwalked into an area where we know a couple good bucks where bedding and feeding. We saw a nice buck feeding along the edge of a soybean/wheat field. We stalked with in 80 yards and watched it for a while and got some pictures. Then a coyote came out and scared the buck. He ranabout 20 yards and stopped and watched the coyote until it left. My dad stalked with in 50 yards of the buck to get some closer pictures.I was watching the buck with the spotting scope and I had a blast being that close to a monster of a buck for our area!! Then we snuck out of there because the wind was dropping and we were afraid it would swirl. Hereare a few pictures.
