I agree with the 15 and 25 yards which in most circumstances is plenty.I have only had one chance at a deer at 40 yards and I did not shoot.The day was cloudy and I had heavy tree cover.Try going into the woods and draw your bow back and look thru your peep you'll be amazed at the distance you can't see clearly as you can just normally practicing.
