I don’t know if you folks feed/bait the deer year round or, up to one to two weeks until hunting season. In states that require ending deer feeding/baiting prior to hunting season, I would suggest every time to go out to feed the deer, use your favorite after shave lotion or cologne while feeding. The deer will become accustomed to this sent every time you go out to feed the deer. When you set up your ground blind or tree stand, feed the deer with your favorite after shave lotion or cologne.
When and if your state regulations, state the end of feeding, continue using your your favorite after shave lotion or cologne while hunting. The deer will be attracted to your sent as if you were placing out the food. You don’t need cover up sent. This has worked for me in NYS and also now in West Virginia where I live.

Also, peeing under my stand has no effect on the deer either.
