The 710 debate will go on and on...... I have one and dropped everything that I ever shot. Patterns get a little sloppy at the range if the gun gets hot but for one shot in the woods it did alright. Took a "slight" step up last year and got a stainless A-bolt stalker. Needless to say the 710 will take a permanent back up role but like my dad says a good rifle is one that puts the animal on the ground! Happy huntin fellas!!
