dpv...its true, especially if your boots have leather soles. There is not much you can do about it. I understand trying to keep your costs down...I do too..there is just too much cool stuff out there to buy However, if you can come up with the money, its a good investment to get yourself a good pair of rubber soled, synthetic material boots. If you dont live in an area that gets super cold, you can get a good pair for $40 or so. If you have to have a lot of insulation, they can get pricey though. Otherwise, hunt the wind as best you can.
