There is one better the------------the sound of a solid hit.

If anyone here wan'ts to just observe elk in their natural setting every year the elk migrate to a breading ground on the Missouri River.It's called Slippery Ann or Sippary Ann.I go every year, it get your blood pumping and heart pounding.Hundreds of elk come out on to the sagebrush/grass flat and bugle,and chalange, fight and spar.It is a no hunting area,but by morrning the big bulls you saw are gone back in to the breaksonly to return that night and torment you.Cause you been out all day hunting them and they are right under your nose.
It's awesome.
