Different approach and my .02 :
A word from the wise has been heeded. I have been frequenting this BBS for a few months now and very much look forward to logging-in every day and gaining knowledge from the more experienced members and reading all of the new posts. I greatly enjoy the fact that there are so many members willing to take the time/ effort to address issues and answer questions. On that note, after reading this topic and the responses that it has rec'd, I must admit; although not proud of it and slightly embarassed, it can probably be said that I have been pulled into and participated (to some extent) with "heated debate that became personal".
You are all correct when you say that this is inappropriate and detracts from the environment of this forum. Looking back, there are a handful of situations that I would have approached differently if given the opportunity, but you cannot replay the past....only improve upon the future. That being said, for my small part of participation that could have been perceived as abrasive or inappropriate by some of the other visitors to this board- I humbly extend my appologies. I assure you all, in the future I will do my small part to "measure twice and shoot once" before I speak (type). Just like when in the treestand, sometimes it is best just to be silent

I have gained a great amount of information from this forum and look forward to much more in the future. Hopfully I can provide a little wisdom along as well along the way. thanks.
