I also shoot the older whisker biscuit model and i do not notice any arrow speed loss (but i have no chrony to back this) but if you do alot of shooting then your vanes start to warp and even peel back slightly, i am actually selling my whisker biscuit and buying an NAP Quicktune 360, same concept but no fletching contact with this model.
