Default RE: winchester X-150? good/bad?

ORIGINAL: KBacon

Winchester firearms were licensed by USRAC. Now, Browning owns Winchester.
I thought it was the other way around? Browning doesn't make anything anymore.. it's all made by Winchester.. or in Winchester factories.. just like PSE now owns their bow line.. I was under the impression that Browning was just a label now a days?
Browning (FN) was owned by the French conglomerate, GIAT.

The Walloon region of Belgium (Herstal, Liege FN plants) bought FN and Browning back from FN. In essence, FN bought FN.

USRAC was headed for bankrupcy. Browning bought them. The Super X2 barrels and Supreme O/U's are made in Belgium. That the Super X2 is a no-frills Browning Gold is no accident.
