Default Early Season Hunting Boots

I've got a really nice pair of LaCrosse "high top" hunting boots with 1000 gr of Thinsulate w/ Gore-tex, etc. I really like them, they are broke in, they are great to hike in and handle the cold just fine with a nice pair of wool socks. They are just a little much in late August/September.

Now, I'm looking for a quality pair of early season hiking/hunting boots. I hunt Elk/Deer and have been doing alot of research, but hoping to get some ofyour opinions. I hike about 2-5 miles a day. I have wide feet, so comfort is very key!

Requirements: Light, 5-7" high, Gore-tex, uninsulated or very light (<=200 grams) and <= $100
