Last year my hunting changed with the birth of my daughter. No long weekends or all day Saturday hunts. So I started taking Fridays off so i could get out all day without worrying about family obligations.

Now it depends on where I am hunting. I usually go solo if I am hunting public land which is about 85% of the time. Taking time off during the week to hunt public land is the best thing I ever did. I never saw another hunter unless it was opening day for M/L or shotgun season.

If I am on my friends 11 acres, then we hunt together. He usually doesn't buy a license so is restricted to his own property.
