Default RE: whats your best "SCENT" strategy

Well im very catious on my scent when I go into the woods. I wash my clothes in a scent free detergent with a cup full of baking soda. I usually hang outside and let them air dry unless its raining then I use dryer. once dry I put my clothes in a plastic bag ( clear ) I recently purchased these bags that has a fitting that u can hook your vacum cleaner to and suck out all the air. I then wash my stand, boots, and bow. When season comes around I look like cojack, I shave my head right to the bone. I wash in a scent free detergent and have a towel that has been washed in a scent free detergent to dry off with, I never fuel the truck up in the morning and never smoke. my hunting gear has never seen anything but the woods I hunt in. except for my bow. I use arm n hammer unscented deodorant also. I pour baking soda into my rubber boots and apply to face. when at the site I take my time and try not to break a sweat. if its hot I usually go to stand without my jacket on and once in stand I then put it on. before I leave the truck and make sure everything is ready, I take 2 earth scent wafers and apply one to each side of my boots. I then apply a earth scent or a scent eliminating spray to my bow, pits, and areas that might produce alot of scent. I spray gloves before I go up into the stand so I dont leave any scent on steps if im hunting in my portable. after climbing up into the stand (climber) I spray down once more. I take a earth wafer off one of my boots and hook to my utility rope and then lower to about 3 ft off the ground. I recently purchased a scent lok face mask thats helps on any mouth odor I also rinse and brush teeth with baking soda. Im saving for the scent lok suit but until then I will repeat this procedure over and over. If I sweat alot I will wash that night and hang outside to dry and repeat. as far as the leaves in your yard I think you should collect from your hunting site. Becuz u never know what kind of animal has stopped to relieve hisself. and the leaves from your area are natural. I think i do pretty good with this procedure, Ive had 7 deer right under my stand at one time. I killed my 9 pt from about 10yds out as the same for thew 8pt. you know youve done your job when a deer walks up the same trail u just came in on. sorry so long, you asked and im telling i think im leaving something out.............GOOD LUCK
