No I would never hunt from one, my feet will do just fine.
Well, that is all fine and dandy, but I have hunted in So texas for does and hogs/javelinas. Plain and simple, you cannot walk through that brush and realistically hunt. You can't even see 1 foot into the brush. And when you have to track a wounded animal through it, every thing has 2-5" thorns. No joke. We didn't have one of those rigs, but we wished we did! A couple of other guys there had them. It is essentially just a 4 wheeler to get to a stand, with out having a set place for the stand. No idiot, that I have met or heard of, has ever "chased down and cornered it by the fence". Also as has been stated, many of these ranches are so large it is hard to comprehend. The ranch that I hunted on was the same sizeas the valley that I livein, and Utahvalley isn't that small,100,000 people live here. Those rigs are the most practical way to hunt So Texas and Mexico.
