Trap will work fine, so would the .22. If she is aggressive toward you when you turn the hose on her, than she is habituated and can be considered a hazard to anyone who might not leave her alone. If you have access to the trap, use it. If not get the .22 out and do the job--just be sure of where that bullet will fly. If there are cats around and you don't want to mess with them in a trap, try a sweet bait. Marshmellows in a live trap with a couple at the door will likely entice it. Maple syrup and a little molassas makes a good lure as well.
