Here in Minnesota we have been seeing mountain lions too. One lady saw a mountain lion dragging a deer across the road and down into a thick patch of woods, and when the game wardens went down there they found a bunch of dead deer. That is right across the road from one of my squirrell hunting spots and it is just outsideof town so I only use a pellet gun and most of the time I hunt at dusk and leave when it is pitch black. Also another person called the DNR to report what she thought was a mountain lion and when the DNR got there sure enough there was a mountain lion trying to attack a turkey but the turkey was doing a pretty good job of keeping it away.
Itseems like the cougar population is growing in MN.[:'(]
