I agree with Motown and it is probably one of the reasons that nobody replied to it. In many cases it is a very touchy and subjective question. Folks feel strongly about the ethics of taking long shots with modern equipment. The average shot on a whitetail is about 18 yards and from my experience most folks rarely shoot past 30.
