I shoot a lot of 3D with horizontal pin sights and "Gap" pins on odd yardages......shooting the air or space between the pins is quite accurate.

I liked the idea of less target coverage overall soa couple of years ago I tried a Trophy Ridge Matrix and simply HATED it. I just could not get used to not seeing between those pins.
Same here and would agree that it is a matter of preference. As in Matt's case I tried the multiple vertical pin sights for a time but found I shot better with the horizontal pins for the above reason.
