Bill, you're not being a 'know it all" your point has some validity. I would agree that they are a far more intelligent animal than a deer or bear but any animal, no matter how intelligent, can lose their fear of humans based on experience. There is also the pack mentality that can come into play. I don't think they'll ever become a widespread problem but I wouldn't be surprised at all if we start seeing more attacks.
