what I was thinking of doing is takinga chargethat I made by volume, measure it (weight), record the weight, and then from there on I could just make up my charges by weighing out the same weight of powder.
I have been doing it that way for about a year and a half. I pour directly from the bottle into the scale panuntil close and then trickle in the last few grains with a powder trickler. I store the pre-measured charges in little plastic vials with screw caps and store them in the MTM 20 gauge shotshell boxes that Underclocked referred to in his post. This system works great for me, and yes, I DO love to tinker!
