I know I will make SOMEONE mad but here goes. The 150 CoreLokts would be a GREAT choice for the 270. Why? Because they are a POC bullet in my opinion and at least you wouldn't run the risk of bullet failure on deersized game with the 150s like you would with 130CLs. LOL now the posts about how many MILLIONS of deer have been killed with 130CLs from 270s will flow forth like snow in the Himalayas.
Personally I wouldn't hamstring the 270 with a plain jane ol 150CL, I equate that to pulling the turbocharger off a new Porsche or running regular unleaded in a Winston Cup stocker.I would drop back too a 130TSX or at least something like 130s in the Interbonds or Accubonds. Wanna go even further? If you simply would like a one bullet weight for ALL scenarios on any game you will be shooting with a 270? Load up some 140 TSXs and forget changing ammo and enjoy the best "in between" you will get with that caliber.
Back too the original question tho, for the money and for what they are yeah the 150CL would be a safe pill to put down your 270 IMHO,
RA
ps
You just gotta try at least 2 weights from your gun. I have seen MANY 270s that simply didnt like 130s and LOVED 150s and vice versa likewise. You won't know until you try it for yourself. No two guns are the same.

Red, I have to agree with you onon all of this. I shot a 270 for many years at deer, I liked the 130's but my gun sure liked the 150 even more.
