Noone has a problem with SS numbers for Pa license
Am I the only person who has a problem with giving my social security number out to a stranger behind a K-Mart, Wal-Mart or Sporting goods store counter? Why is it that the PGC has the authority to ask for SS numbers, but every other agency and insurance company in Pa had to remove all SS numbers associated with accounts? I'm not a criminal and I've passed numerous background checks including my concealed carry permit, but I have no kids and I'm not in the deadbeat dad category. All I want to know is WHAT DO THEY NEED IT FOR? DIDN'T A DRIVERS LICENSE ACCOMPLISH THE DEAD BEAT DAD THING? IF THAT IS REALLY WHAT THEY ARE UP TO. WHY IS THE PGC NOW IN CHARGE OF LOOKING FOR CRIMINALS OR WHATEVER USING SPORTSMANS TAX DOLLARS?
Maybe I'm going off the deep end here and they have a perfectly logical explanation of the SS numbers needed to buy licenses, but I doubt it.
There I feel a little better!
