Aim for just Behind the shoulder. It will kill the deer much easier then IN the shoulder. I saw a deer that had and arrow in its shoulder last year, and the arrow had only penetrated only 2-3 inches. Aim for the heart/lungs and if you hit the deer there, you cannot go wrong!
